Metalcore band As I Lay Dying performs a concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album 'Shadows Are Security', with support from KILL THE LIGHTS and THE CURSE.
As I Lay Dying are playing the Crescent Ballroom on Sunday, November 22, as part of a tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of Shadows Are Security. The record came out in 2006, so this is a look back at one of their older releases rather than a run for new material. If you've spent any time with their catalog, you know the album—it's the one that put them on the map for a lot of people.
They aren't the only ones on the bill. Kill The Lights and The Curse are both opening, so there are three bands in one night. The whole evening is built around Shadows Are Security, and the set will center on that record, which means the night is more of a focused anniversary show than a general career retrospective. If that's the album you know best, it's a good time to catch it live.

It's a Sunday night, and the show starts at 7:30 PM. The venue is the Crescent Ballroom, 308 N 2nd Ave in Phoenix. With three bands on the bill, the night should run a while, so keep that in mind if you're planning your Sunday around it. Tickets are available through Live Nation.
