A weekend-long showcase of Indigenous art featuring over 600 Native artists, live entertainment, food, and a family fun zone.
The Heard Museum Guild is bringing back the 69th Annual Indian Fair + Market on Saturday, March 6, and Sunday, March 7, 2027, at the Heard Museum in downtown Phoenix. It's a weekend-long showcase of Indigenous art right in the city, and this year it's pulling in more than 600 Native artists from over 100 Tribal Nations. That's a lot of ground to cover in two days, so if you're planning to see it all, you'll want to give yourself some time.
Most of the draw is the market itself, where those artists show their work to thousands of collectors and enthusiasts. It's not just for people who already collect; it's a good place to see a huge range of styles and traditions side by side. Beyond the booths, there's live entertainment and food, and a family fun zone, so it works as a full day out with kids as much as a trip for art. The accepted artists also compete in the Juried Competition for the Best of Show award and cash prizes, which adds a bit of a competitive edge to the weekend.
The fair is organized by the Heard Museum Guild, and it's one of the museum's biggest annual events. The scale is what stands out—600 artists from over 100 Tribal Nations means you're seeing work from across the continent, not just one region. Between the art, the live performances, and the food, there's enough going on to make a whole weekend of it.
