A holiday cabaret featuring drag superstars Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme with songs, dance, sketch comedy and iconic costumes.
Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme are bringing The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show to the Miller Theater at the Kimmel Center on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22. Both are RuPaul's Drag Race winners, and they've spent the last nine years touring this holiday cabaret together. They describe it as the greatest holiday show south of the North Pole, and Entertainment Weekly has called them the reigning queens of Christmas.
Each year they build a new show around the holiday, and this one follows the same pattern as the ones before: brand-new songs, parody carols, razor-sharp sketch comedy, live vocals, and iconic costumes. Over the years, they've met sentient Christmas treats, twisted space-time with Dickensian ghosts, ventured to the Nutcracker's Land of Sweets, and survived AI, body swaps, and elf attacks. The two also produced How the Queens Made Christmas, an illustrated holiday romp for festive adults.
They bill the show as a celebration of community, and it partners with The Trevor Project to support suicide prevention and crisis intervention services for LGBTQ+ youth. If you're familiar with their work, you know the format—two drag superstars on stage together, singing and riffing their way through a holiday-themed production.
