Detroit rapper Skilla Baby plays the Theatre of Living Arts with Detroit trap artist Sada Baby on his 'The Price of Fame Tour'.
Skilla Baby brings his The Price of Fame Tour to the Theatre of Living Arts on Thursday, October 22, with Sada Baby joining him on the bill. Both are coming out of Detroit, so the whole night stays within that city's particular brand of hip-hop.
If you're not already familiar, Skilla Baby is the stage name of Trevon, a Detroit rapper born and raised in the city. He's managed by Eastside Juan of Big Squad, and his work sits squarely in the Detroit trap sound—that fast-talking, heavy-bass style the city has become known for over the last few years. Sada Baby comes from that same scene, so the two of them on one bill keeps the energy in the same pocket from start to finish.
One thing to keep in mind before you head over is how the venue handles the floor. The standing area is open to all ages, but the seated sections are restricted to over-21s with a valid ID, so if you're planning on sitting, make sure you've got your ID on you. If you're under 21, you'll want to stick to the standing room.
