Musical for ages 4-9 based on Andrea Beaty's Questioneers book series, filled with STEM and teamwork, part of the Philadelphia Children's Festival.
Rosie Revere, Ada Twist & Iggy Peck: The Questioneers comes to the Zellerbach Theatre on Tuesday, March 9, as part of the 2027 Philadelphia Children's Festival. It's a musical for ages 4 to 9, based on Andrea Beaty's Questioneers book series, and it leans hard into STEM and teamwork. If you've read the books, you know the three of them—Rosie, Ada, and Iggy—each have their own way of looking at the world, and the show brings them together on stage.
It's not a standalone date, though. The production is one of several professional performances and interactive activities that make up the Philadelphia Children's Festival, which runs from March 7 to 9 at the University of Pennsylvania's Zellerbach Theatre. The festival is geared toward families and school groups, and this year the dates were shifted into early spring to keep the weekday performances clear of mandated state testing, so you won't have to work around the school calendar to catch it.
The Questioneers are just one part of the lineup. The program also features a clever mouse and a brave raccoon journeying through fairy tales, and bilingual hits from the Grammy Award-winning group 123 Andrés. Beyond the stage, there's the PLAyground, which offers a free concert and hands-on activities from local arts partners.

On the day itself, Rosie Revere, Ada Twist & Iggy Peck: The Questioneers plays twice: once at 10 AM and again at 12 PM, so you can pick the time that works best for your morning. Both shows are at the Zellerbach Theatre at the University of Pennsylvania.
