The North American tour of Alicia Keys' semi-autobiographical musical Hell's Kitchen, directed by Michael Greif and choreographed by Camille A. Brown.
Alicia Keys' Hell's Kitchen plays the Academy of Music from January 5 to 17, 2027, as part of Ensemble Arts Philly's 2026-2027 Broadway season. It's the North American tour of the musical, which is now in its second year and has visited more than 30 cities.
The show is semi-autobiographical, with music and lyrics by 17-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys, who drew on her own experience growing up in New York to shape the story. It follows Ali, a 17-year-old girl full of fire searching for freedom, passion, and her place in the world. Along the way, she meets a neighbor who becomes her mentor and opens her heart to the power of the piano. Set to the rhythm of the 90s, the production is described as a love story between a mother and a daughter, and a story about finding yourself, your purpose, and the community that lifts you.
