redveil with JPEGMAFIA

redveil plays The Fillmore Philadelphia on Tuesday, October 20, with JPEGMAFIA joining the bill. It's a hip hop and alternative hip hop night in the city, and the two names on the poster should give you a good sense of where the evening lands.

redveil comes from Largo, Maryland, and works across hip hop and alternative hip hop. If you're not familiar, that puts the sound in the realm of rap that doesn't stay inside the lines—the kind of music that pulls from a few different places at once rather than sticking to one lane. It's a good fit for a Tuesday night in Philly, especially with JPEGMAFIA on the bill, whose own approach to hip hop is famously restless. Between the two of them, the night leans toward the more experimental side of the genre.

For those who know the names but haven't caught them live, this is a chance to see them together on the same stage. The lineup is redveil with JPEGMAFIA, so you'll get both of them in one go. If you've been following either one, it's a straightforward way to see them without having to piece together separate dates.

The show is at The Fillmore Philadelphia, specifically at the Stage door, and it starts at 7 PM. It's a Tuesday, so it's a mid-week outing rather than a weekend one. If you're planning to go, just keep that in mind when you're figuring out your night.
