Open-air Halloween evening at Roxborough Pocket Park with local artists and makers, live music, costume awards and a screening of 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'.
Pocket Park After Dark takes over Roxborough Pocket Park on Thursday, October 22, from 5 PM to 10 PM. For the night, the open-air community garden at 6170 Ridge Avenue is transformed into a Halloween wonderland, and the whole thing is built around costumes. They're encouraging everyone to dress up, and they'll be handing out awards for Best Rocky Horror Look, Most Outrageous, and a few more.
Before the main event, the evening is open to local artists and makers, with live music running throughout. The headliner comes later: a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show starts at 8 PM. If you're planning on the movie, you'll want to be there early enough to get settled in the garden before the credits roll.
