Stand-up show by comedian Pinky Patel, from her 'Hello My Priends Tour', about the absurdities of suburban life and motherhood.
Pinky Patel brings her stand-up to Helium Comedy Club on Saturday, October 24, at 4 PM. It's a matinee slot, so you'll be out in time for dinner. The show is part of her Hello My Priends Tour, and she's the sole feature on the bill.
If you've come across her online, you probably know the 'glam cave' videos. Patel is originally from Illinois and describes herself as a PTA mom turned creator, comedian, and personality, and she's built a following of more than 5 million. Those videos, filmed from her glam cave, have gathered tens of millions of likes on TikTok. On stage, her humor leans on the everyday absurdities of suburban life, motherhood, and adulting—the kind of mundane stuff that most of us just put up with, which she turns into laugh-out-loud material. It's the same voice from the videos, just live.

Helium is an intimate room with table service before and during the show, so you can grab a drink and a seat and stay put. It's a cashless venue, so leave the cash at home and bring a card—they take all the major ones. A couple of things to keep in mind before you head over: the show is for ages 21 and over, though 18-year-olds can get in if they're accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over 30. The club is at 2031 Sansom St in Center City, and the show starts at 4 PM on Saturday, October 24.
