FringeArts' largest annual fundraiser featuring food and drink tastings from 25+ Philadelphia restaurants and bars alongside live performances and installations.
FEASTIVAL returns to FringeArts on Wednesday, October 28, marking its 15th year. It's FringeArts' largest annual fundraiser, and the money goes toward the venue's programming and the Fringe Festival. The format is the same one it's run since 2010: more than 25 Philadelphia chefs, restaurants, bars, and specialty food purveyors set up around the room, with food and drink tastings running alongside live performances and installations that happen among the guests and, in some cases, above the crowd. Over the years it's been called 'the cultural event of the year,' 'the best party in Philadelphia,' and 'a party from a different world.'
This year's lineup features Brian Sanders' JUNK and the West Philadelphia Orchestra with 7textures, co-hosted by Cristina Martinez, Ari Miller, and Rue Landau. The food side is just as big as the performance side, with those 25-plus local spots providing the tastings you'll graze on while the shows happen around you. Creative cocktail attire is suggested, so it's a good night to lean into the dress code.
