Pink Martini All-Stars present a holiday show with singers Ari Shapiro, Edna Vazquez and Jimmie Herrod.
Pink Martini All-Stars are playing Marian Anderson Hall on Monday, December 14, 2026, at 7 PM. The show is titled A Season of Stars, a holiday program that brings together three singers — Ari Shapiro, Edna Vazquez, and Jimmie Herrod — sharing the stage with the ensemble.
If you're not familiar with the name, Pink Martini is the globe-trotting "little orchestra" started in 1994 by founder Thomas Lauderdale. He put it together as an antidote to the lackluster acts he was seeing at fundraisers for his favorite causes, with his friend China Forbes as the first full-time lead singer. Over three decades, it's grown into a dozen musicians singing in more than 25 languages, drawing on old-fashioned pop, global color, a big band sound, and Hollywood glamour. They made their European debut at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival and their orchestral debut with the Oregon Symphony a year later; since then, they've played with more than 75 orchestras worldwide and sold millions of albums on their own label, Heinz Records.
A Season of Stars is an all-new holiday show that mixes old favorites with new treats, billed as bringing triple the joy. Critics have described the band's music as rich, hugely approachable, cosmopolitan, and unpretentious. The three singers — Shapiro, Vazquez, and Herrod — will be the voices leading the night, with the orchestra providing the backing.
