19th edition of the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival, with 44 world, East Coast and Philadelphia premieres across several venues.
The Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival returns from November 5 to 15, with Moore College of Art & Design at 1916 Race Street serving as the main hub and other venues across the city hosting screenings throughout the run. This year marks the festival's 19th anniversary, and it's one of the largest of its kind in the country.
The focus is on stories from the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, and it's not just about film. The lineup brings together cinema, performance art, music, and other creative expressions, so you'll find more than just screenings on the schedule. The scale of this edition is pretty substantial: 44 world, East Coast, and Philadelphia premieres, which means a lot of what's playing hasn't had a public run anywhere else yet.

Because it's spread over ten days and across multiple locations, you can pick and choose what fits your schedule rather than trying to do it all in one go. The main screenings are at Moore College of Art & Design, but the other venues mean you'll be seeing work in different parts of the city. It runs from November 5 to 15, so there's plenty of room to catch a few films over a couple of weekends.
