Tabletop gaming convention with freeplay areas, tournaments, and 300+ developers and publishers.
PAX Unplugged returns to the Pennsylvania Convention Center from Friday, December 4 to Sunday, December 6, 2026. It's the tabletop-focused side of PAX (Penny Arcade Expo), the gamer festival that started in Seattle in 2004 and has since expanded to Boston, San Antonio and Melbourne. This particular edition is run by ReedPop and Penny Arcade, the webcomic Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins started in their living room back in 1998. Their charity, Child's Play, has raised over $45 million for children.
For the weekend, the Convention Center turns into a giant game room. There are sprawling freeplay areas where you can just sit down and play, alongside tournaments, panels and live game sessions. You'll also find titles that haven't been released in the United States yet. More than 370 tabletop gaming exhibitors will be on the floor, including Wizards of the Coast, Games Workshop, Asmodee, Cephalofair Games and UVS Games. Matt Leacock, the designer of Pandemic, is the Storytime speaker. Tournaments include the Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek PAX Championship and the Disney Lorcana Challenge Championship Qualifiers, plus a playable event celebrating 10 years of Clank!.
