Free dedication of 'Momma's Nourishment', a new mural by Zebo and Calo Rosa painted with Little Legacy families, part of Mural Arts Month 2026.
Zebo and Calo Rosa are dedicating their new mural, Momma's Nourishment, at Little Legacy Learning Center on Saturday, October 24. It's a North Philadelphia project through and through: Zebo was born and raised in the neighborhood as a graffiti artist, and he teamed up with master muralist Calo Rosa to bring this one to life. The two didn't work in a vacuum, either—they painted it alongside Little Legacy families during a public paint day, so the community actually helped put the brush to the wall.
For Zebo, this is a bit of a milestone—his first mural in the city. He's used the space to look at motherhood from a few different angles, from self-discovery and profound love to the heavier side of things, like grief. It's the kind of subject that hits close to home, and seeing it come together with the families who live and learn right there gives it a different weight than if it had just been a professional crew working behind a fence.
The dedication is part of Mural Arts Month 2026, Philadelphia's citywide celebration of free, accessible public art. This year's edition highlights more than 4,000 murals across the city and adds new works to neighborhoods like this one, so Momma's Nourishment is one of many new additions to the city's collection.
