Concert by singer-songwriter Maris at the MilkBoy venue in Philadelphia.
Maris plays MilkBoy on Thursday, October 22, starting at 8 PM. She's a Montana-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter who blends heartland rock with glam-pop bombast and diaristic songwriting, and she's coming to Philadelphia as the sole bill for the night.
Her breakout collaboration with Caroline Kingsbury, "Give Me A Sign," made Spotify's Best Pop Songs of 2025 and helped her sell out her first headline show at DC9. "Body Is On Fire" kicked off the next phase of her work, and "SUPER F★CKING MEGAST★R" landed at #4 on Stereogum's Top Pop Songs of 2025. She played Boston Calling alongside Ed Sheeran, Chappell Roan, and Reneé Rapp, and has been featured in Rolling Stone, LADYGUNN, Under the Radar, and Wonderland. Elton John played "Mary + I" on his Rocket Hour radio show, where he compared her to Lady Gaga and Freddie Mercury. She's toured nationally with The Wrecks, Maude Latour, A R I Z O N A, Anna of the North, and Caroline Kingsbury.
Maris describes her own approach as a playful DIY ethos that runs through her songs, her social content, and her live shows. That heartland rock side sits alongside the glam-pop bombast, and the songwriting stays diaristic throughout. The Los Angeles Times has called her "pop music's next Mega Star."
