90-minute guided workshop to make a winter holiday wreath from fresh-cut seasonal foliage, with all materials provided.
Morris Arboretum & Gardens is hosting a wreath-making workshop at its Welcome Center in Chestnut Hill on Friday, December 4. It's a 90-minute guided session, and you get to choose between a morning slot from 10:00 to 11:30 AM or an afternoon one from 12:30 to 2:00 PM.
Inside, you'll work side by side with other participants to build a winter wreath from fresh-cut seasonal foliage, ribbons, and natural embellishments. The Arboretum provides all the materials, so you don't have to worry about sourcing greenery or gathering supplies beforehand. The only things you're asked to bring are a pair of pruners and gardening gloves. Festive music plays in the background while you work, and the guided format means you'll have a hand to walk you through the process if you've never made a wreath before.
The workshop is part of the Arboretum's continuing-education 'Creative Expressions' programming, and it's described as a yearly favorite that always sells out, so it's worth grabbing a spot early if you're interested. It's a good way to get something handmade for the holidays without having to do all the prep yourself.
