Color-creating activity where participants mix their favorite colors and discover new ones, part of the LEAP arts and crafts programme.
LEAP National Color Day is coming to Haddington Library on Thursday, October 22, at 3 PM. It's a color-creating activity where you mix your favorite colors and discover new ones along the way, and it's part of the LEAP arts and crafts program run by the Free Library of Philadelphia.
The session is aimed at young adults and school-age participants, so it's a good one to keep in mind if you've got kids or teens who like to get their hands dirty with a project. The whole thing is built around mixing: you start with the colors you already love and see where they take you when you combine them. It's less about following a set of instructions and more about playing around with the palette until you find something you didn't expect.
Because it's part of the LEAP program, this isn't a one-off. LEAP is the Free Library's arts and crafts series, and this is just one of the sessions they put on across the system. If you're into making things, it's worth keeping an eye on what else they've got coming up.
