Philly debut of the Montreal art-punk collective La Sécurité, with CDSM, at PhilaMOCA.
La Sécurité play PhilaMOCA on Thursday, December 3, with CDSM opening. It's their Philadelphia debut, so this is the first time they've played the city.
They're an art-punk collective from Montréal/Tiohtià:ke that formed in the spring of 2022. Their sound mixes jumpy beats, off-kilter arrangements, and minimalistic melodic hooks, all filtered through an insomniac lens inspired by the city's neon lights. The lyrics echo the Riot Grrrl ethos and celebrate the autonomization of women, friends, and benevolence.
Since they started, they've played SXSW, End of the Road, The Great Escape, and Reeperbahn, and toured with The Go! Team in 2024 and The Rapture in 2025. Their 2024 debut, Stay Safe!, was long-listed for the Polaris Music Prize, followed by Stay Safe! REMIXED with Mothland and the singles "Detour" and "Ketchup." Their sophomore album, Bingo!, arrived on June 12, 2026, via Bella Union worldwide and Mothland in Canada and the United States.
