Acoustic rock and roll band Keep the Change plays Xfinity Live! with versions from the 1950s and 1960s through the 2010s.
Keep the Change are playing Xfinity Live! on Sunday, October 18, at 8 AM. It's a Philadelphia acoustic rock n' roll band, and the current lineup is Jeff Perlman on lead vocals and Ricky Haldis on guitar.
Their set runs through a wide span of eras. It starts in the 1950s and 60s with The Beatles, Buddy Holly, and The Rolling Stones, and goes through the 70s, 80s, and 90s. From there it reaches more recent acts like Shinedown, The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, and The Neon Trees, with country music mixed in. They put their own twist on every song they cover.
Perlman and former member Rowland Adamoli started the band in 2011, intending to bring back a sound they'd both used in previous projects, but with more aggressiveness. They pride themselves on delivering a full-band sound within an acoustic setting, and Perlman says the goal is to be different from other acoustic acts on the scene: hard-hitting from the first song.
