Holywatr plays Union Transfer on Spring Garden Street with support from mercury, following their full-length 'Deo Gratias'.
Holywatr are playing Union Transfer on Friday, October 30, as part of their Deo Gratias tour. They're a Los Angeles band that blends alternative metal, emo, and metalcore, built on crushing riffs and soaring melodies. The show follows their full-length record Deo Gratias, and they've toured with Architects and Chiodos, played the Warped Tour, and sold out headline shows, drawing more than half a million monthly listeners.
Opening the night is mercury, the project of artist Maddie Kerr from Franklin, Tennessee. She describes her songwriting as a form of survival. Her three-track project, Together We Are One, You And I, is led by the single "Born in Early May," which she recorded in Asheville, North Carolina, with Alex Farrar. The project is accompanied by a short film directed by Harrison Shook.
