Philadelphia DIY indie rock and punk collective Flavorless Gum plays The Fillmore Philadelphia with The Snuts as support.
Flavorless Gum play The Fillmore Philadelphia on Tuesday, October 20, with The Snuts opening. It's a local night for them: since 2023, they've operated as a Philadelphia-based DIY collective that handles every part of its output in-house, from recording and mixing to marketing and merch design.
The set draws from their debut album, High Society, which they describe as a fresh and daring approach to indie rock. The lyrics focus on local characters and observations on the influence of wealth and greed, and the constant counterbalance between perfection and humanity. Sound-wise, they place themselves at the crossroads of alternative, indie rock and punk.
