Holiday office party show by singer-songwriter Don McCloskey and his eight-piece band at The Fallser Club.
Don McCloskey is playing The Fallser Club on Saturday, December 12, for his Holiday Office Party. It's a full-band night, and he's bringing an eight-piece behind him, so it's a big sound for a club room.
McCloskey is a Philadelphia singer-songwriter, producer, and performing artist whose sound pulls from folk, rock, Americana, soul, electronica, and pop. It's a wide net, and the eight-piece band is what carries it across. His most recent album, The Chaos and The Beauty, came out in April 2022, and its first single, "First in Flight," landed in the season two finale of Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet on Apple+, where it's been streamed over 3 million times. His songs have also appeared in the Academy Award-winning film Bowling for Columbine.
He's toured with a long list of names from across the map: Raekwon, The Roots, Amos Lee, G. Love & Special Sauce, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Margo Price. He's also shared the stage with the cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which fits the local connection. Between the folk and soul and the electronica and pop, there's a lot of ground to cover in one set.
