David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy about a cutthroat Chicago real estate office, performed at the Walnut Street Theatre.
David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross opens at the Walnut Street Theatre on January 12, 2027, and runs through February 14. It's a Pulitzer Prize-winning play that first took Broadway by storm, and it's coming to the Mainstage as part of the theatre's 2026-27 season.
The story is set in a cutthroat Chicago real estate office, where four salespeople are competing to sell mostly worthless Florida properties to unwitting customers. The stakes are set by a simple, brutal contest: whoever sells the most wins a car, and whoever sells the least is out of a job. It's a ruthless environment in which every character will do anything to come out on top, and the comedy comes from watching them tear into each other to survive.
