Cavetown plays The Fillmore Philadelphia on his Running With Scissors Tour, with support from Chloe Moriondo.
Cavetown plays The Fillmore on Saturday, October 24, as part of the Running With Scissors tour. It's an all-ages show, so you can bring younger friends or siblings along. The tour takes its name from the album Running With Scissors, which gave us the singles "Rainbow Gal," "Baby Spoon," "NPC," and "Tarmac." The record blends bedroom-pop intimacy with a sharper pop-punk energy, and that's the sound the tour is built around.
This is one of 21 dates across the U.S. and Canada, which runs from September 21 to October 25, closing at the Brooklyn Paramount. The Philadelphia stop falls toward the end of that run. Cavetown has partnered with PLUS1 for the tour, directing $1 from every ticket sold to LGBTQ+ community organizations.
Opening the night is Chloe Moriondo, who first gained attention on YouTube. Her work pulls from indie pop, bedroom pop, hyperpop, indie rock, and pop-punk across albums like Blood Bunny, SUCKERPUNCH, and Oyster. Between her and Cavetown, the bill covers a lot of the same ground—bedroom pop and pop-punk—so the two sets should sit well together.
