The Glass Cannon Network brings its live Call of Cthulhu tabletop RPG show, led by Keeper Troy Lavallee, to Philadelphia for the final two dates of its tour.
The Glass Cannon Network brings Call of Cthulhu Live! to The First Unitarian Church on Friday, December 4, one of the final two dates of a nationwide tour. The show is a live theatrical take on cosmic horror, with Keeper Troy Lavallee leading the way. If you're not familiar with GCN, they're a long-running tabletop RPG group, and this is their Call of Cthulhu campaign played out on stage.
The tour has been traveling across the country, and Philadelphia is hosting the final two stops of the run. The show itself started years ago in Los Angeles and has grown into a long-running story that reaches its conclusion here. Each chapter stands on its own, so you don't need to have followed every single session to jump in, but they all spiral around a secretive organization desperately trying to hold back forces humanity was never meant to comprehend. GCN describes the experience as a mix of wild comedy, slow-creeping terror, and the kind of chaos that only a live show can conjure.
Troy Lavallee is at the helm as Keeper, and he's joined by GCN regulars Joe O'Brien, Skid Maher, Matthew Capodicasa, Jared Logan, Ross Bryant, Rob Kerkovich, Sydney Amanuel, Noura Ibrahim, and Mary Lou. That's a full house of the GCN cast on stage together, which should give you a sense of the scale they're bringing to the room.
