An evening of poems, carols and Christmas cheer from Oxford theatre company Creation Theatre.
Creation Theatre are bringing Poems & Carols to Summertown Arts on Monday 7 December, from 7.30pm to 10.00pm. It's part of their Christmas offering this year, and they've billed it as a very special evening of poems, carols and Christmas cheer.
If you've come across them before, you'll know Creation Theatre is an Oxford-based company. Over the last 30 years they've built a reputation for site-responsive adaptations of classic stories, staged both in person and online. They run as a charity with no regular subsidy, and they reach younger audiences through term-time drama clubs for 6-19 year olds, with families invited to try a free taster session.
Poems & Carols sits within that Christmas programme, so it's one of several things they'll have on around the city this December. The evening itself is exactly what the title suggests: a mix of poetry and carols to get you in the mood for the season.
