Impressionist and comedian Jon Culshaw brings his show of stand-up, stories, sketches and song to the Oxford Playhouse Main Stage.
Jon Culshaw brings his new show, Me, Myself and Others, to the Oxford Playhouse on Thursday 8 April 2027. It's a stand-alone night on the Main Stage, and the title gives you a fair idea of what's on the bill: Culshaw's impressions of other people, mixed in with his own stand-up.
If you're not familiar with his work, Culshaw is one of Britain's most well-known impressionists, and Dead Ringers on BBC Radio 4 is probably the first thing that comes to mind. From there, his TV credits stretch across a few different eras of comedy: Spitting Image, The Impressions Show, and Newzoids all lean on the voices, while Channel 4's Partygate took things into docudrama territory. He's as comfortable in a sketch as he is in a straight-up stand-up set, and this show pulls from both.
On stage, he's spent plenty of time away from the impressions, too. He toured his solo comedy show Imposter Syndrome to packed houses, and he's played the one-man play Les Dawson: Flying High, the Dead Ringers 25th Anniversary Tour, and a pantomime at the London Palladium. Me, Myself and Others is billed as 'Fiery Entertainment' by Siren Talent, and they describe it as a whistle-stop tour of famous voices told through stand-up, stories, sketches and song. So it's not just a string of voices; there's a proper show around them, with the impressions woven into the stand-up and the storytelling.

It's a single-night visit to the Playhouse, with the show starting at 7:30pm on Thursday 8 April. If you've followed his work on Dead Ringers or Spitting Image over the years, this is a good chance to hear those voices live on stage.
