Ballybeg returns to Oxford with its production of Brian Friel's 'Dancing at Lughnasa', about the women of a Donegal family.
Dancing at Lughnasa is back in Oxford this November, playing at the Michael Pilch Studio on Jowett Walk. It marks the return of Ballybeg to the city, and this time the focus is on the impact of time on tradition and religion, the power of memory and family, and especially sisterhood — a story about the women in our lives.
There are four performances to choose from across three days: Wednesday 18 November, Thursday 19 November, and Saturday 21 November, all starting at 7.30pm, with a matinee on Saturday at 2pm. If you're working during the week, the Saturday double gives you a choice of an afternoon or evening show.
