A free formal afternoon with a drinks reception and a conversation on women's leadership, sports diplomacy and philanthropy in the Olympic movement, followed by a fencing demonstration.
Bridging Nations, Leading Change comes to the Sohmen Concert Hall at the Schwarzman Centre on Wednesday 28 October, from 15:30 to 18:00. It's an afternoon bringing together voices from the US, the UK and Pan-American sporting communities to talk about women's leadership, sports diplomacy, philanthropy and the Olympic movement, and the power of sport to change things.
Moderating the conversation is Selina Kaing, a Templeton College alumna and the first woman elected Chair of the US Fencing Foundation, who brings more than two decades of leadership from Fortune 500 companies including Google, Marvell, Disney and NestlΓ©. Joining her is Sally Munday, Chief Executive at UK Sport and former CEO of England and GB Hockey, who led the sport through a decade of growth that included Team GB Women's Olympic gold at Rio 2016. And Georgina Usher MBE, Chief Executive of British Fencing and a Board Director of the British Olympic Association, who is an internationally recognised advocate for women's leadership and governance in sport.
