Live set by Vibe Makerz at Hockley Hustle, the annual charity festival of 50 venues across Hockley and Broad Street in Nottingham.
Vibe Makerz are taking over Vault Nottingham on Sunday 25 October, as part of this year's Hockley Hustle. It's a DJ set and a dance floor, running from 14:00 to 21:30, so it's a proper afternoon and evening session rather than a late-night one.
If you're not familiar with Hockley Hustle, it's a charity festival that's run every year since 2006. The whole thing is spread across Hockley and Broad Street, with acts in 50 different venues. The main draw is the wristband: one gets you into every single one of them, and it also counts as a donation to local charities. Over two decades, the festival has raised £250,000, and this edition has already brought in £18,877 of a £20,000 target for Emmanuel House, IMPACD CIC, Al-Hurraya, The Harley Jae Trust, Young Carers Notts and Shifting your mindset.
That wristband opens up a huge range of local Notts talent across rock, jazz and samba, alongside poetry, bingo and performance art. There's a queer-led 'Queer Hustle' running across queer-led venues, and an alcohol-free 'Afternoon Jazzy' session of feel-good dancing. If you're in the area, there's also a 20th-anniversary exhibition at Broadway gallery on Heathcote Street. LeftLion rated the festival 91%.

Vibe Makerz hold down the Vault Nottingham stage from 14:00 to 21:30, so you can spend your afternoon dancing there and then wander off to other venues whenever you fancy. Wristbands are £25 in advance and £25 on the day, and that one wristband covers the whole festival.
