There's Pumpkin About Mary!

There's Pumpkin About Mary! takes over Rough Trade Nottingham on Friday 30 October, just a few days before Halloween. It's a night of ghoulish games, petrifying performances and devilish DJ sets, all put on by Unnamed Drag Productions. The whole thing is hosted by Marilyn Sane, who describes herself as the 'Wicked Witch of the East Midlands', and Nana Arthole, the monster from your closet.

Between the games and the performances, DJ BOZ and resident ghoulfriend Baby Tap will be on the decks. The soundtrack twists pop, dance, electro and rock into something spookier, so it's a mix of styles rather than one single sound. There are prize bags up for grabs, filled with Halloween horrors, tricks and treats, drinks tokens and crochet originals by Nana Arthole, plus a goodie bag for the best Halloween outfit, so it's worth putting some effort into your costume if you're heading down.

It's strictly for over-18s, and the first floor is lift accessible. Doors open at 8pm, with the games starting at 8.30pm. Admission is free, but you pay to play: all three games for £7.
