Fan convention celebrating Red Dwarf with panels, behind-the-scenes stories, interactive experiences and meet-and-greets with the show's cast and crew.
The Official Red Dwarf Convention is coming to The Motorpoint Arena on 7 and 8 August 2027, bringing the cast, crew and fans together for a weekend in Nottingham. It's billed as a celebration of all things 'smeg-tastic', and the two days are built around panels, behind-the-scenes stories and interactive experiences, with the regular cast and crew on hand to talk through the show. There's also a bit of room for the fans to get involved, with people encouraged to re-enact their favourite moments — from the best Rimmer salute to the Cat strut.
Joining the regulars are bonus guests Doug Naylor and Norman Lovett, so the line-up pulls in a good chunk of the people who made the show what it is. The weekend is set up as a gathering for the 'smegheads', and the focus is as much on the community as the guests, with the panels and stories running across both days.
If you're looking at the VIP options, they open the doors from 9am and cover the opening and closing ceremonies, all the Q&A sessions, and a selection of autographs from the regular and bonus guests. The Gold pass adds a photoshoot and a fan meet with the headline guest. Professional photoshoots can also be bought on the door at the kiosk, so you don't have to commit to a top-tier pass to get a photo.

For the rest, there's single day entry for £40 or a full weekend ticket for £60. The VIP passes go from £120 for Bronze, £290 for Silver, and £435 for Gold. The whole thing runs at The Motorpoint Arena, Bolero Square, Nottingham, NG1 1LA, on 7 and 8 August 2027.
