Disney on Ice presents Discover the Magic

Disney on Ice brings Discover the Magic to the Motorpoint Arena on Thursday 19 November, with the show starting at 18:30. It's produced by FELD Entertainment, and the whole thing is built around a few of the big names you'll recognise: Moana, Elsa, Belle and Stitch all appear on ice, and they're joined by aerial stunts and live music throughout. It's a ticketed event, so you'll need to book in advance rather than turning up on the night.

There are a few practical things to keep in mind before you head over. Doors open an hour before the performance, so if you're arriving early, you've got plenty of time to find your seats. The venue is the Motorpoint Arena, part of the National Ice Centre on Bolero Square, NG1 1LA. If you're looking for accessible sessions, those are available, and accessible seating can be arranged on request.

One thing to double-check before you leave the house is the bag policy. They limit bags to no more than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm, so if you're bringing a larger bag, you'll need to leave it elsewhere. And if you've gone for VIP, Front Row or Rinkside seats, just be aware that those are on flat, non-tiered flooring, so you'll be right down on the level rather than looking down from a stand. With the show starting at 18:30, getting there by 17:30 puts you in the doors right as they open.
