In-person workshop led by Shamshad Walker on market, message and media for a marketing plan, with a presentation, practical tips and a Q&A.
The Marketing Club is back at Antenna Nottingham on Tuesday 24 November, this time focusing on how to build a proper marketing plan. It runs from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, so it's a morning session rather than an evening one.
The session is led by Shamshad Walker, a Nottingham-based marketing consultant, mentor and trainer who's been supporting businesses for over 15 years. He's delivered training and mentoring for local Growth Hubs and organisations including NatWest Bank, Nottingham Business Venture, Nottingham Trent University, the University of Leicester and local councils. The club itself is set up as a practical, flexible learning environment for business owners who want to strengthen their marketing capability and meet other like-minded companies aspiring to grow. It runs as a series of monthly in-person workshops across Nottingham and Leicester, each three hours long and centred on a specific area of marketing, so you can pick only the sessions that fit your business priorities.
This particular workshop is capped at 12 delegates, so it's a small group rather than a big lecture. It covers market, message and media, and the format is a presentation followed by practical tips and a Q&A. You're asked to bring a laptop along, which suggests you'll be doing some actual work on your own plan during the session rather than just listening.
