Emo tribute night with the live band Teenage Nostalgia, live DJs and confetti at The Nest, a standing show for ages 14 and over.
The Emo Festival comes to The Nest on Friday 20 November, a tribute night dedicated to the emo music of the 2000s. The night is built around a live band, Teenage Nostalgia, who play the biggest emo anthems of the era, with live DJs filling the gaps between sets. There are also live performers and confetti thrown throughout the evening.
Emofest describes itself as 'The Greatest Emo Tribute Night', a celebration of the music that was never just a phase. It leans into the genre's cultural impact and the nostalgia that still surrounds it, with the live band taking the lead on the anthems and the DJs keeping the room moving in between. The night is a standing show, and the ground floor of The Nest holds up to 1,200 people. It's open to ages 14 and over, with under-18s needing an adult with them.
One thing to keep in mind: Emofest and its events aren't affiliated with the original artists or their trademark holders, so this is a tribute night rather than a line-up of the bands themselves. The focus is on the songs and the era they come from, played back by a live band and DJs.
