French TikTok star Tatty MacLeod returns with her new stand-up show 'Things My Mother Did', in which she reviews her mother's life choices.
Tatty MacLeod is playing Nottingham Playhouse on Wednesday 31 March 2027, at 7:30pm. It's a brand new stand-up show performed in English, and it's part of her 2027 live comedy tour.
If you've come across her online, you probably know her as the 'French TikTok Lady'. Back in August 2025, she posted a video of her 73-year-old mother digging a trench, which went viral with 25 million views and gave birth to the persona 'DIY Liz'. This new show takes that off and runs with it: she reviews her mother's life choices against her own and asks whether she's becoming her mother. It's a family thing, then, and one that clearly hit a nerve with a lot of people.
This isn't her first run around the circuit. Her previous show, Fugue, was named one of Time Out's 10 Best Comedy Shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and sold out multiple tours across the UK and Europe. Outside of the stage, she runs the Substack Tatty en Terrasse, and her first non-fiction book is due out in 2027, so this tour sits right in the middle of a busy year for her.
