Free bring-and-buy sale of second-hand board games, miniatures and accessories at the board game café Games Haven, with seller table fees donated to Mermaids.
Games Haven is hosting a Tabletop Gaming Bring & Buy on Saturday 31 October, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. It's a second-hand sale of board games, miniatures and accessories, and entry is free for buyers.
If you're just coming to browse, it's a straightforward one: you turn up and look through what's on the tables. If you're looking to sell, the event works on a seller-table basis, with tables available by advance enquiry and booking. You can set up either the evening before or on the day, so you're ready to go when the doors open. It's a good way to clear out the games and miniatures you've outgrown and make room for something new, and since it's a bring & buy, you'll be buying from other players rather than a shop.
There's a charitable side to it too. All seller table fees go to Mermaids, a UK charity that supports trans, non-binary and gender-diverse young people and their families. Every table booked adds to that total, so selling your old gear does a bit of good as well as clearing your shelves.
