Speed Dating - Ages 40-55

Fastlove are running a speed dating night for the 40-55 age group at Slug & Lettuce in Market Square on Thursday 19 November, from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. It's one of several age-segmented sessions they're holding at the same venue and at the same time, with groups for 21-35s and 50-65s running alongside it, so you're matched with people in your own bracket rather than a mixed crowd.

The format is structured socialising: up to 25 short, one-on-one conversations in a single evening, with each date lasting around three minutes. It's designed to be a relaxed and organised way to meet a fair few people in one go, rather than spending the whole night chatting with just one or two. Fastlove describe themselves as the North's biggest and busiest singles events organiser, and this is one of the nights they're putting on across the region.
