Tribute concert by the duo Bookends to the music of Simon & Garfunkel, with hits like 'The Sound of Silence' and 'Mrs Robinson'.
Bookends bring their Simon & Garfunkel tribute, Through the Years, to the Royal Concert Hall on Sunday 31 January 2027. The duo behind it is Dan Haynes and Pete Richards, and they've billed the show as the most authentic-sounding concert to the music of Simon & Garfunkel. It's not just the songs, either: they set the music against a backdrop of iconic imagery, and it's a show that's toured across the UK, Europe and the United States, selling out theatres night after night.
The set list leans on the duo's biggest hits, including 'The Sound of Silence', 'Mrs Robinson' and 'The Boxer', alongside Bookends' own rendition of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'. Critics have been kind: Stuart Cameron of BBC and ITV called it 'a masterpiece', and BBC Radio described it as 'one of the greatest tribute shows anywhere in the world'.
