Halloween R&B party with 90s and 00s soul and R&B hits, live performers, Halloween decor and a fancy-dress competition at Pitcher & Piano.
RNB Mania is taking over Pitcher & Piano on Saturday 31 October, turning the venue into a Halloween R&B party. It's part of a tour they run to venues across the UK, and the Nottingham edition is expected to sell out.
The night is built around R&B from the 90s and 00s. The DJs play the smooth, soulful jams of the 90s alongside the bangers of the 00s, so you'll hear the slower, melodic side of the era and the bigger dancefloor tracks in the same set. They describe it as a night for reliving your favourite tracks and dancing with friends.
It's not just a DJ set, though. The format mixes those R&B anthems with live performers and hosts, and the venue gets dressed up with Halloween decor and surprises. There's also a fancy-dress competition with big prizes, so it's the kind of night where turning up in costume is part of the thing. RNB Mania bills itself as the UK's favourite R&B party, and the whole setup is designed to turn the room into a Halloween festival for the evening.
