Rick Parfitt Jnr and The RPJ Band - Merry Rickmas 3.0

Rick Parfitt Jnr and The RPJ Band are playing The Big Shed at The Trent Navigation on Saturday 20 December, as part of their Merry Rickmas 3.0 show. It's a tribute to Rick Parfitt, with Rick Parfitt Jnr leading the band through the songs his father made famous. If you've followed the Merry Rickmas run, you'll know it's a Christmas tradition for them, and this is the third edition.

The set is built around Rick Parfitt's songs, the ones that defined his career and kept him in the public eye for decades. With the band behind him, Rick Parfitt Jnr takes those tracks and brings them back to the stage, keeping the focus on the music rather than anything else. It's a night for people who know the songs and want to hear them played live, with the family connection at the centre of it all.

It's a Nottingham date, so if you're around the city that weekend, it's an easy one to get to. The Big Shed at The Trent Navigation is the venue, and since it's a Saturday night in December, it fits right into the pre-Christmas run of things. The show is billed as Merry Rickmas 3.0, so it's a festive take on the tribute.

Doors open at 18:00 on Saturday 20 December, so you've got plenty of time to get in and settle before the band takes the stage. If you're planning to go, keep that start time in mind.
