Prosecco afternoon tea for two with finger sandwiches, scones and patisseries served in The Cock and Hoop, The Lace Market Hotel.
The Lace Market Hotel is running a Prosecco Afternoon Tea for Two in The Cock and Hoop, the traditional ale house inside the hotel. It's a proper three-tiered spread: dainty finger sandwiches, homemade scones, and a selection of homemade patisseries, including a chocolate orange layer cake and almond-crusted choux buns filled with elderflower cream. Each person gets a glass of prosecco to go with it, and you can pair the food with teas like roast oolong or cinnamon chai.
It's served in The Cock and Hoop, which is the cosy, traditional ale house tucked inside the hotel rather than in a dining room, so it's more of a pub atmosphere than a formal tea room. The whole thing takes about two hours, and it's dog-friendly, so you don't have to leave your four-legged friend at home. It's for over-18s only, and they'll cater to any dietary requirements as long as you let them know when you book.

It runs Wednesday to Saturday, 13:00 to 15:00, so it works as a mid-week treat or a weekend afternoon. It costs £46 for two people, and you can also buy it as a gift voucher, which stays valid for twelve months from the date of purchase if you're not booking for yourself.
