Third edition of the Paint by Numbers electronic music night, with Tom A. Smith, COSIGN, Midnight Rodeo and others, at The Bodega.
Paint By Numbers returns for its third edition on Sunday 6 December, with The Bodega on Pelham Street hosting the Nottingham date. It's part of a two-city run that month, and this time cosign and Midnight Rodeo are co-signing the whole thing.
It's a long day of music, put on by DHP Presents, running from 14:00 right through to 22:00. That's eight hours of live sets, so it's more of a full-day affair than a standard night out. The line-up is a big one: Tom A. Smith, COSIGN, Jeanie and The White Boys, Midnight Rodeo, Sweets, UGLY and OZO. With seven acts across the afternoon and evening, you've got plenty to get through, and the early start means you can settle in for the whole run rather than just catching one or two.
Because it starts in the middle of the day, it's a bit different from your usual gig. Doors open at 14:00, and the music keeps going until 10pm, so you can drift in and out as you like or stay for every set. It's open to over-14s, which makes it an easy one to bring along younger friends or siblings if they're into the scene. The Bodega is right in the city centre on Pelham Street, so it's easy enough to get to and stay around for the day.
