Notts County take on Stockport County at Meadow Lane Stadium on Saturday 24 October, kick-off at 3pm. It's a Category A fixture, so tickets are priced higher than a standard home game. For those who don't know the history, Notts County is the world's oldest professional football club, founded in 1862. If you're coming from the city centre, it's worth planning your afternoon around The Nest. It's a versatile venue about a ten-minute walk from Nottingham station that opens before the game with a huge bar area, the biggest screen in the city, and street food traders, and entry is free. It's a good spot to get a drink and some food in before heading over to the ground. With the 3pm kick-off, you've got plenty of time to make use of it before the match starts.
