League One football match as Notts County, the world's oldest professional club, welcome Stevenage to Meadow Lane.
Notts County welcome Stevenage to Meadow Lane on Saturday 21 November, kick-off at 3pm. It's a League One clash that finds County in their 163rd season, their first back in the third tier since 2014-15 after coming up via the play-offs. The club is owned by Alexander and Christoffer Reedtz and managed by Martin Paterson. Stevenage arrive in their 51st season, their fourth consecutive year in League One under Alex Revell.
Meadow Lane has been County's home since 1910 and holds 19,588, with a record attendance of 47,310 set in 1955. There's a bit of local trivia worth knowing about the ground: a small stream, Tinker's Leen, runs right under the Jimmy Sirrel Stand, which replaced a structure built straddling it in 1926. If you're heading in early, the club's home of hospitality, The Nest off Iremonger Road, opens its huge bar, the biggest screen in the city, and street food traders with free entry.
