In-person Festival of Remembrance service presented by the Royal British Legion Nottinghamshire County to honour military heroes, with proceeds to the Poppy Appeal.
The Nottinghamshire Festival of Remembrance returns to the Albert Hall Conference Centre on Saturday 24 October, put on by the Royal British Legion Nottinghamshire County. It's an in-person service, so it's a night spent in the room rather than something you watch from a distance. The Legion describes it as a heartfelt occasion for honouring courageous heroes and their stories, and they frame the evening around emotion, reflection and community spirit.
There's a clear purpose behind the night, too: all proceeds go to The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal (Registered Charity number 219279), so whatever you pay goes toward their work. If you're planning to go, there's one practical thing to keep in mind about the venue: wheelchair access at the Albert Hall is limited. Because of that, anyone who needs a wheelchair space is asked to email elainejhopkins@gmail.com rather than booking through Eventbrite.
