Political stand-up comedian Nish Kumar brings his tour show 'Angry Humour From a Really Nice Guy' to the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham.
Nish Kumar is back in Nottingham on Thursday 19 November, playing the Royal Concert Hall as part of his latest tour. He's touring with a batch of passionate, progressive stand-up, and the Nottingham date is presented by Plosive Live in association with PBJ Management.
If you've followed his work, you'll know him as one of the UK's leading political comics. He co-hosts the podcast Pod Save the UK and fronted the BBC show The Mash Report before it was axed. He's also well remembered as one of Taskmaster's greatest losers, and he's now 40. Both The Guardian and The Telegraph named him among the 50 best comedians of the 21st century, and his previous tour played to sold-out crowds across the UK, North America, Australasia and mainland Europe.
The reviews have been pretty high-energy. The Guardian called him the 'pre-eminent comic political polemicist of our time', the New York Times compared him to the ferocious Bill Hicks, and The New Yorker described his show as a 'motormouthed roller-coaster of a standup hour'.
