Kim Wilde brings her 'The Singles Tour' to the Royal Concert Hall, with very special guest Tiffany.
Kim Wilde plays the Royal Concert Hall on Friday 26 March 2027, with Tiffany as her special guest. It's part of The Singles Tour, so the set is built around the songs that made her name rather than a single album. If you've got a few of her records scattered across the years, this is the one that pulls them together.
She first burst onto the scene in 1981 with 'Kids In America', a worldwide hit written by her father, the 1950s singer Marty Wilde, and her brother Ricky. Born Kim Smith in Hertfordshire in 1960, she followed it with the album Kim Wilde, which peaked at number three in the UK charts and brought a string of hits: 'Chequered Love', 'Water on Glass', 'Cambodia' and 'View From a Bridge'. In 1984 she signed with MCA and released Teases & Dares, which held the top 20 hit 'Rage To Love'.
By October 1986 she'd covered the Supremes' 'You Keep Me Hangin' On', which reached number two in the UK and number one in the USA. Her most successful album, Close, came in June 1988, spending 38 weeks in the UK charts and producing the top ten hits 'You Came', 'Never Trust A Stranger' and 'Four Letter Word'; around that time she was the support act on Michael Jackson's Bad tour. In 2003 she had a hit with 'Anyplace Anywhere Anytime', a duet with Nena.
