Creative writing workshop for children to write spooky stories at The Reading Room in Nottingham.
The Reading Room is hosting a Kids Spooky Story Writing Workshop on Wednesday 28 October, just a few days before Halloween. It's a session for children to sit down and write their own spooky stories, so if you've got a young one at home who's into the eerie side of things, this is a good place to point them.
The whole thing is built around spooky story writing, and the session is run at The Reading Room here in Nottingham. It's a workshop rather than a one-off talk, which means the kids will actually be putting pen to paper and working through their own stories during the session, not just listening to someone else talk about how to do it. If they've already got a few ghost stories or creepy ideas rattling around in their head, this is a chance to get them down on the page.

It falls on a Wednesday, so it's a mid-week thing rather than a weekend activity. The date is 28 October, which puts it right in that pre-Halloween window when the spooky mood is already starting to set in. It's held at The Reading Room in Nottingham, and the cost is £6.13.
