Stand-up show by Josh Pugh, known for Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week, with observational humour for audiences 14 and over.
Josh Pugh brings his stand-up show Ha Ha, Yeah Sound to Nottingham Playhouse on Thursday 22 October, starting at 7.30pm. It's a full evening of comedy, with the set running for 110 minutes.
If you've come across him on the telly, you'll recognise the name. He's appeared on Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week, and he's a regular on the panel show circuit, with spots on Big Fat Quiz of Everything, Would I Lie to You?, The Last Leg, Hypothetical, As Yet Untitled and Match of the Day X. He's also been on the BBC New Comedy Awards and served as a Head Judge. Much of that following has built up on the smaller screen, alongside a steady stream of weekly viral videos.
The show itself leans on observational humour, the kind of quick-witted, relatable material that works best when you can see the comic working it out in front of you. The critics have been on board, too: The Guardian called him 'deceptively clever' and Rolling Stone described him as 'a must-see stand up'. It's recommended for ages 14 and over.
